Students from the Corcoran College of Art + Design respond to the documentary photography of Taryn Simon, whose work is now on view in the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Inspired by the artist’s rigorous research methods and the questions she asks about contemporary social issues, the student work on view also builds upon collaboration across different departments. Direct interaction with Simon is an integral component of the workshops leading to this exhibition.
