Cartooning and Typography

Learn the conventions of cartooning, including storyboards, dialogue bubbles, and caricature. Then study book jackets, comic books, and the work of graffiti artists to learn techniques of composition and narration and how to successfully merge images with words. Please note that there will be no class on March 3, 2012.
