Friday, September 27 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
On Friday, September 27th, the 1869 Society of the Corcoran Gallery of Art will revive one of its most memorable parties! Fall Fête: Americans in Paris will bring together more than 800 guests for an evening of glitz, glamour, and of course, lots of art. Ozkar, DJ Provoke, and Baronhawk Poitier will fill the atrium with hot jams, while guests sip on special cask cocktails, wine, and beer from Heavy Seas Brewery.
The event will celebrate the reinstallation of the American galleries at the Corcoran, and the lure of Parisian life for American painters.
Taking its name from the year of the Corcoran’s founding, the 1869 Society is committed to promoting the arts in Washington, D.C. Members of the Society, ranging in age from 25 to 42 years-old, host a series of art-infused events throughout the year that bring young professionals together to network and make significant connections while celebrating and supporting the arts.
